Joanna K, MS, BCBA – Owner
Since 2003, Joanna has worked with individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other developmental disabilities, as well as ADHD, anxiety disorders, learning disabilities, and behavior disorders. She has experience in many settings including: schools, clinics, residential programs, home programs, community-integration programs, behavioral health hospitals, and sheltered workshops.
Prior to entering into private practice, Joanna developed the 1st in-patient behavioral health hospital unit in the Midwest for children with ASD and psychological disorders.
Throughout her diverse experiences, it has become evident that the key factor to a child’s success is directly linked to motivation. Maintaining a child’s motivation and the use of natural reinforcers is Joanna’s primary area of interest.
Adrian G, BCBA
Adrian started her journey into the field of ABA in 2010. She received her Masters of Arts in psychology at Roosevelt in 2019 and finished her coursework in behavior analysis at University of North Texas in 2020. She has worked across settings including therapeutic day schools, private schools, public schools, clinic, home, and in the community with clients aged 2 to 22 years. While she has worked across skills, she enjoys teaching replacement behaviors and helping her clients fade supports to be more successful in least intrusive environments. She has focused on teaching independence, group learning, and enhancing social opportunities for her clients.
Her hobbies outside of work include gardening, crafting, making pizzas, walking her sheepadoodle, and planning and hosting parties for her family.
Erina J, Behavior Analyst Intern
Erina received her Master’s Degree of Psychology, with concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis through the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. During her educational career, she worked as an RBT/Level 2 Behavior Therapist at multiple facilities and completed her internship through JMK Behavior Services. She has been working in this field for 12 years, prior to that, Erina volunteered with Best Buddies Organization all throughout her time in high school.
Erina has worked with all age groups from young toddlers to adults with developmental disabilities. Her passion has allowed her to excel in different types of environments such as clinics, schools, residential, and home settings.
Hobbies: spending time outdoors with nature, spending quality time with her family and dogs, baking, exercising, and creating crafts with her kids.
Marilyn C, Lead Registered Behavior Technician & Behavior Analyst Intern
Marilyn was born and raised in Chicago, IL. Marilyn received her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2015. Marilyn has been a Registered Behavior Technician since 2019. She has worked as a Registered Behavior Technician in in-home settings, multidisciplinary settings and clinics with dozens of different learners ages 2 to 18 years old. On December 13, 2020, Marilyn received her Masters in Applied Behavior Analyst. She is half way done with her intern experience and is excited to continue her journey at JMK Behavior services.
Hobbies: cooking, baking, walking her dog, painting and fishing.
Cathy W, Registered Behavior Technician
Cathy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Roosevelt University in 2000. Since then she has worked in school districts as a substitute teacher in special education classrooms, as a classroom program assistant, and as a senior program assistant in therapeutic day schools for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Cathy has been a part of the JMK Behavior team as a registered behavior technician since 2014.
Hobbies: Cathy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, reading, playing with her dog and taking care of her snake.
Jasmine R, Registered Behavior Technician
Jasmine recently graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology as well as a certificate in CEC HR. JMK will be Jasmine’s first time working as an ABA therapist and she is so excited! While in high school, Jasmine participated in her school’s adapted physical education program, where she worked one-on-one with students with disabilities. She also volunteered for Special Olympics for two years, helping out with basketball and bowling.
Jasmine has two big dogs at home and loves spending time with them. One day, Jasmine hopes to get involved with local politics to advocate for people who cannot advocate for themselves!
Donna K, MA – Administrative Manager
Donna received her Master of Arts degree from DePaul University in Musicology. While in college she volunteered to work with infants with disabilities at Misericordia in Chicago and worked with underprivileged children in Cabrini Green during the early years of the Head Start Program. After 35 years in real estate, first in sales and then as an administrator, Donna has come full circle.

Stacy H, MA – Operations Manager and RBT
Stacy earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Sociology at Roosevelt University in Chicago. She began working at JMK Behavior Services as an ABA Therapist in April 2014, and then in August 2014, Stacy transitioned to the Operations Department where she handles new client relations and scheduling.
Hobbies: In her free time, Stacy enjoys working in her garden and playing outside with her dogs.
Mike K – IT Support Specialist
Mike has worked in direct care support for people with mental disabilities coupled with severely aggressive behavior since 2009, including managing multiple residential care facilities and being an active member of the mobile crisis unit. He is an advocate of ABA for those with autism spectrum disorders and believes in the positive impact it plays in their lives. Mike has also been a professional freelance web developer and graphic designer for over 15 years. In addition to servicing technical support & graphical needs at JMK Behavior Services, Mike is the Creative Director and Production Manager of a pro/am mixed martial arts fight promotion, a licensed special effects pyrotechnician in Hollywood, a successful illustrator and published comic book artist, as well as a contributing writer, producer, and voice actor of a popular online audio drama horror series.
Hobbies: Mike enjoys drawing, Jiu-jitsu, and playing video games.
