Job Description:
- Make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with autism.
- Provide ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy to individuals with autism by implementing prescribed treatment programs. developed by the lead BCBA, including but not limited to verbal behavior training, skill acquisition, and social skills.
- Observe and respond to different behaviors with the intention of helping to improve those behaviors in an observable way.
- Collect data during each session based on the individual client program.
- Attend scheduled quarterly team meetings.
- Engage in regular communication with the therapy team via email and phone calls.
Requirements:
- Previous Applied Behavior Analysis experience (preferred).
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Human Services or related field (preferred).
- Experience with children, preferably autism or special needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A positive attitude and ability to exercise good judgment.
- Willingness and ability to adapt to a variety of situations and behaviors.
- Eager to develop new skills, engage in professional development, and teamwork.
- A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license with valid insurance.
- Willingness to embrace the values and evidence-based methodology of JMK Behavior Services.
- Strictly adheres to HIPAA rules and regulations.
- Must meet background check requirements.
- Must be comfortable working in-home or in a preschool-like setting with the client.
- Must be willing to drive to clients homes.
Compensation:
- $18-$23/hour
- Longevity bonuses
